gday all,
i know this is off topic a bit but im having a hell of a time finding a set of "driver under instruction" plates, not even Vicroads have been able to help so far.
i am in the process of training for my MC truck license but now that i have completed some basic training i am unable to drive on the road until i obtain a set of the plates, does anybody here have any idea where some can be found?i will ring around a few truck
places in the morning but was just interested if anybody might have a better suggestion or even a old set lying away in the shed.
cheers guys

You might like to try Truck Bits, on South Gippsland Hwy,
Hampton Park. They have lots of signs for trucks.
When I was in the CFA down there, we had a
sign writer make some up for the fire trucks.
As an ex Victorian Copper, I can tell you that it is an offence to drive around with L plates on when you are the holder of a licence. That is why "Driver Under Instruction" signs were introduced to show that you were a licensed driver, learning in a heavier vehicle.
