I'm in the process of downloading F.A.S.T. like you said on prevous post but it's REALLY slow. about 5 Kb/s. SO at this rate it'll be ready in 165 hours. (5.5 days) And I'm using my work computer so I'm not too keen about downloading 5 gig of info onto it.

I'll check my chassis number and email it to you tomorrow.

the chassis number is wrong. its a series problem in "wbyd21" the W is wrong would you like to check please . if not under the chassis number is the series number I can use that.

Had another look. on the plate is this-

then there's only the trim code and the engine number.

by the way what your model code has told me is that the car is a
b-2.7 td motor
y-4wd
d21 - is the series
d- its a 4 door wagon
p- its a se {r3m} 87-93
k - Auto
t - turbo emissions
s13\16 you have 16 but its wrong it should be 15 or 13 series for exterior options.

All that sounds about right-
perhaps the ending is
S13 and not 613 as i had it.
What is "turbo emisions". Does it mean that it's simply with a turbo?

It means it has emissions rated for the turbo engine. IE it will have an EGR valve and the emissions will be rated on the 1991 diesal exhaust standard of the day.

Its very hard reading katana but ill try to decipher what the s13 outside options are for you.

Going back to your chassis number the "080000" part or its wrong if its "030000" it puts the car back to a late 89 model to early 1990 model.
If you chassis is "050000" it puts your car early 1991 to mid 1991.

if the 080000 is correct but its a fault with F.A.S.T then that might put the car early 1993. but I think that is unlikely. mid 91 sounds more like it.

Interesting, with the whole rebirthed thing.

Maybe something was dodged up when it was imported from Japan. I double checked the numbers and they are on the plate as I have written them. The chassis number is also on the actual chassis somewhere right? Maybe I'll have a look at that one day when I'm under the car.
