Wondering if anyone could tell me what the originol diesel engines were in the 40 sreies landcrusiers, ie shorty, cab chassis and troopy. Particularly between 1975 and 1984. Much appreciated

the 2h is a 4L 6 cylinder right? and the 3b is a 3.4L 4 cyl? I know the 1980 shorty 40 diesel came with a 3L 4cyl, curious to know if the troopies, utes were similar for around that time.

Blackman,
The utes and troopys (in the early to mid 70's) also had a H or 1H motor which was a 3.6L straight 6 diesel. Not much power and getting hard to find parts for them now.
Cheers,
Hughesy
