I've finally bitten the bullet and ordered a Waeco CF80 Fridge/Freezer combo to replace my 39L Engel (which has been faultless). It arrives tomorrow and we're off to Inverloch for three nights so I'll see how it performs.

I'll report next week on fridge performance, power usage etc.

Cheers,

Jim.

Not yet Brian,

The Engel goes on sale next week. Trying to get $700 or thereabouts for it. They seem to move quickly in the Trading Post for $600 to $750.

There are people asking near $700 for the old Green/yellow ones. I guess that's because they last forever. An eight year old fridge that probably has another ten years in it is OK. Mine is the grey turbo fan job. I'll see how I go.

Cheers,

Jim

Hey Jim,
How you doing mate?
The kitchen is on hold for now. I have seen a few variations and ideas but yours suits me perfectly. As soon as i get around to it i will pull the finger out. I spoke to your contact but I decided to get a local to handle it incase of problems.
Cheers mate
