Gday all,
Just bought a SeriesII GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel Patrol, off too my local exhaust bloke to get 3" mandrel bent exhaust system put on.........
Can anyone suggest a good workshop with proven experience in tuning this and other light TD engines- want to run extra boost safely, and have fuel pump adjusted accordingly...?????
Thanx

Sorry, I should add that I am in South East suburbs of
Melbourne, Vic (all the
well-known tuning workshops seem to be in NSW & QLD)!

Junior,
While still in NSW, why don't you give Denco Diesel (one of the ExplorOz sponsors) a call; they're located in Wagga Wagga. I know they spend a lot of time on Nissan product.
When you consider the amount you're likely to end up spending, the time and cost of travel is marginal.

I had my GQ to 3 different
places in South East
Melbourne.. None could get the temps down and power up once I had a turbo thrown on.
1/4 of a day to Denco in Wagga, and it now not only has much more neddies, more boost, it also runs MUCH cooler - under 1/4 where it was 1/2-3/4 before... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
AG Diesel is another option, they are managing to do some good mods according to rumour on TD6's...
