... okay... how much is this going to cost me I'm thinking, as my daughter Rhiannan is asking me something...

I have every right to think this, she's got the Trading Post tonight, and is looking for a Toyota Celica.

"Dad, how come over half of Toyota car models begin with the letter "C"?"

"Don't know" I reply. I am busy reading the forum.

"Well, ask them on the forum!" She says.

So, there you go, why DO Toyota car models mainly begin with the letter "C"?

Cheers

I have no idea on the answer, but I can recall some years ago the release of the Mitsubishi (*I think*) Starion. A friend from the motor trade told me that it was *supposed* to be the "Stallion", but the guy handling the advertising/marketing was European and the guy trying to get the name down was Japanese. Hence "Stallion" became "Starion".

As Benny Hill would say .... " Ry don't you bruddy risten".

Had to try & even the score somehow, but you caught me out........... bugger!

You weren't supposed to come back to this post, the plan was that other people would think Wolfie's intelligent! You've blown my cover!

This thread will self destruct in 10 seconds.......... 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.... whoa....... still here..........

What if I write a really rude word, then David might delete...........

Bugger.......... I've been caught out.......... you'll keep Nudie!!

Wolfie's daughter here (Dad left himself logged in, tsk tsk).
Call me Wolflet or something.
Carina
Cavaleir
Corolla Seca
Corsa
Cynos.... Just to add a few more.
(PS I got these from the trading post...)
So that's a fair few starting with C, more than any other letter.
Maybe I should just ring some official in Japan and ask him.
Wait... they dont use the letter C in Japanese...
The plot thickens!!!

Also apart from the corrolla Seca , all the others don't come to Australia . Only as a full import .

Now umder the Corolla Banner ,

Corolla
Corolla Seca
Corolla Conquest
Corolla accent
Corolla sports

Hope this helps you even out the score lol .

ps , you don't need your dad to forget to log off to get on here , register as a visitor . Them give us your bank details so we can bribe you on dirt on Wolfie .

Hmm hang on thats a waist of money , usually Wolfie spills his own guts lol

Well, got up this morning, and Rhiannan had been on.

If you're wondering what she looks like... click my Rig, and scroll down.

Rhiannan is a freelance writer by the way.
