In case there is some confusion, this is not a new release of the MkIII, but a completely new model called the Range Rover Sport. It is smaller and designed to appeal to younger buyers.

I like it... a lot.
I acknowledge the Aussie penchant for "practicality" and "reliability" over everything else, but I also prefer a vehicle that has class... and a "soul". You just don't get much of that in the typical Australian's prefered lineup.
The RangeRover has it in bucket-loads. The interior alone might be an example of how humans prefer to be accommodated. If I had the dosh I'd
park one alongside the Jeep :)

Yes Rangie have class but not to sure what it would be like off-road but I quite like it. Like you say if I could afford it wouldn't mind one parked next to the p38 rangie I have now. or maybe a Disco 3 ?

Anybody else see a resemblence to the Ford Territory, even the dash could have come from a BA Falcon.

well but Toyotas are boring, boring vehicles and a boring company and boring people, you

I can understand your position.
It is very " boring " having a vehicle that will get you there and BACK !
Ever heard of Lexus ?

Continues the tradition of superb Landrover styling and probably retains great 4x4 ability. Landrover has a heart and soul like no other 4x4 company.

Guaranteed to cost you a fortune to repair if you can get parts , guaranteed to cost you a heap when you resell if you can find a buyer and guaranteed to have all sorts of little character flaws that come with such quality english built vehicles.
yes please I will have two !
