Well I hereby open myself up to a flogging... Today I went on the high country trip... I packed a fridge instead of the spare 31" tyre... YES I got a flat, I forgot the camera, YES There were photo opportunities, I forgot the first aid kit, YES my daughter fell over twice and insisted on a band aid to stem the flow of tears...

YES I AM AN IDIOT, I think we all had fun though.

Nah.........

No flogging. The fact that you opened up to us ( female thinking ) is good.

Now, was it a band aid for HER tears? LOL!!

You know, I thought I was the only silly bugger here!!

Cheers

You think well as a female Wolfie... The hardest part about doing what I did was knowing how many times I got up my mates for being ill prepared.

To those who attended, thanks for making a trip a great experience, Dad and the Bonz family thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Take a bow, Adam and Kirsten, Gary, Paul and Helen and Kirralee and Wayne and Jasmine, Dad raved about how nice the people were that he'd never met before, Kate thinks its great her Dad can meet people such as these on the Net hahahaha, makes me feel old.

Kirsten, I hope you can come up with words to explain the Monument track, Kirralee, I hope your feet defrosted after paddling in the creek at Lunch, and Jasmine, next time we'll bring along a bug catcher for those butterflies. Daryl hasn't stopped talking about this KIA that we went to the High Country with-awesome.

To the three guys picknicking n the circuit road beside theie Cherokee with TWO flat tyres, road tyres alomst bald down the centre, I hope your day inproved and you got to somewhere that fixes tyres, sorry we didn't have any plugs to help but....you go to go prepared.

Thanx to all, it was a great day, a little long, but hey ot takes a while to drive 850km in one day, such is life.

Lucky there werent any Toyota's to slow us down on the day, no make was disgraced at all, except maybe KUMHO.

Hi Bonz

I will forward some picutres tomorrow. Kir is in love with the high country which is fantastic, she is looking foward to going up the way we came down. We got home to Mordy by just before 4, got to the party at 5, 3 hours late haha but it was worth it for the day trip. We covered just over 560kms. Hope you guys had an excellent afternoon, poor blue.
Cheers for a great day
Adam

Falling in love with high country is not hard! Its a stunning area with so much to see that you can do numerous trips and not do the same areas over and over!
Running 3-4 club trips next yr up there...

Hanging to do Clearhills again :( But its closed still...

What a top day Bonz. Thanks for organizing it. The three of us had an absolute ball. The company was great, the scenery was spectacular, the tracks were challenging, and at the end of the day H and I both agreed that we can't wait to go back. Great to catch up with everyone again and lovely to meet Adam and Kirsty for the first time. We really would have liked to have had Kirsty doing commentary going down the section where Bonz said "Just pick your way slowly down here guys!"
. . . . and if that wasn't enough it was a real eye-opener to follow Blue and see just how well the rear suspension on the Triton works!

NEXT TRIP WONNANGATTA!
