Red Rocks Point WA South East Coast

Now that the hot weather has kicked in - when all hot and bothered at the end of a particularly hot day, we hear on the weather forecast that the coolest maximum in the state was at Red Rock Points. I want to go there! Has anyone ever been there? Anyone live in the area who can enlighten me? I'd love to know. I asked at the Mundrabila fuel station, and the guy said, yes, you can get to it from the highway if you know which track to take - didn't think the track be suitable for a caravan though.
