Hi All,
Following on from some previous posts with Chris in QLD, Ive just fitted a new set of Wrangler MTR's. My question is what tyre pressures are others running for these tyres? My GQ patrol is unloaded to and from work. Im currently running them at 40psi front and rear, and they feel like it should be about the right pressure when compared how the BFG AT's felt whcih I ran at 35psi front and rear.. Even with the MTR's at 40, they absorb bumps better than the BFG's did..

thanks in advance for any feedback

regards
Bryan

running 40psi would feel like riding on rocks! Mine did. but everyone has differing expectations, and acceptance of what is ok and not.

I run my MTR 33x12.5x15's on 15x8's on my GQ with rear storage in it perm, with tents and sleepin gear in normally at 34/36... They run fine down to 13-14psi without beadlocks and without tubes fine.

Hi Truckster,
The old BFG's at 35 were a damm hard ride, but the MTR's feel softer at 40, thats why Ive left them there so far..
I'll let em down to 36 for the week and see how they feel.Im running 265/75R16's.

Thanks for the info

You want a hard ride, try me simexs.. :( Unless you run them too low that the noise is annoying..

Bryan,

Running 235/85R16's at 38psi, on tojo 79 series w/- standard rims. By wear patterns of older tyres this is a bit high, probably 34-36 might be better.

Got 50K out of last set, so am keen to see if can repeat this.

Hooroo...

Can't remember most of it.
