Hi, we've got a 2001 TD Jackaroo, and are looking at making some sliding draws in the back - has anyone done this? Any advice/plans very much welcomed so I don't re-invent the wheel. Cheers.

Pretty sure it is 75L. I just drove one from
Adelaide to
Darwin with no weight in it and it scored about 12.0L/100km at an average speed of 120km/h. So, I was getting about 600km out of a
tank.

Made a drawer for my GQ. Works great. Made of ply with home made runners. If you don't have a fridge I think one big drawer with dividers is better because you lose less space.
I can post the dimensions if you want.
One mistake I made was I used alli istead of steel for the runner. Alli slides great but the steel will last longer.
Good luck.

Fuel
tank listed as 85 ltrs..How far will you be able to travel? depends on far too many variables..best I can do is about 30 -34mpg...(highway) best way to be eco is lay off the gas pedal..and keep her on or about 100kph when on the open road...
The TD's are great wagons..
Cheers PV
