G'day Peter
It could be a couple of different things...
Firstly I'd be checking all the connections between the
water source and the pump. In my case there are a few.....where the hose meets the pump connection; the screw thread on that connection; the hose clamp on either side of my in-line filter; the snap-on connection on the bullbar; and finally, the connection on the hose that plugs into the snap-on connector. Phew!!!
If any one of those isn't sealing correctly, you'll draw air instead of
water.
However, it could also be the diaphram inside the pump maybe dried out a bit. I found this was a problem......how to fix??
I went to a boating
shop and bought a rubber fuel bulb (used on outboard motors to prime the fuel from drum to outboard). I added this to the end of the pick up hose that I stick into the plastic bucket where our cold
water goes. If the pump doesn't immediately start delivering the goods, I give the bulb a few squeezes and it seems that once the diaphram has been wetted, it starts to pick up the
water okay.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Peter
I've had a couple of Glind showers - and they've been fantastic. Friends of
mine have also had Glind and Twine - and some have had similar problems to yours.
Invariably, it's because accessory fitters have used common "Gardena" type snap-on hose fittings, which are designed to be presuurised to a degree - and not work (in a sealed manner) under vacuum.... i.e. sucking. Any sideways flex of the joint over time (it's just plastic) and you will get bubbles in the line and pump.
I use bullbar-mounted screw-on fittings from Pirtek - and have never had a problem at all.
