Went and had a look at the new Anaconda Camping, Fishing, Outdoors, Boating shop that opened this weekend in the old Spotlight store on the Cnr of Canterbury and Bayswater Roads.

Some good, Some Bad however they were selling, nup! flogging a 2HP 2 stroke generator for $148.

It was badged as a Scorpion 950W but alleged to run at 800W.

Looked almost identical to my GMC 850W and the Millar-Falls 850W.

These little suckers will be down to $100 soon.

The same story, but in Brisbane recently at a camp/caravan show they were selling air compressors for $189, while Big W sells the exact brand for $89. I stopped one person from buying. The sales person was miffed, to say the very least.

OK! smart A R S E if you must know it has been built and left by ship from Detroit on 16.11.04.

ETA Mel about mid December and delivered early January 05.

Sometime shortly thereafter you and your Kadina mate will be getting a visit, and for all the crap I've had to put up with from both of you, a cold one will be adequate recompense.

I think 8 months to get a vehicle must be close to some sort of record.

Do you mean a cold glass of water? Of course the water we get over here is what you bloody Mexicans "pass" on a daily basis. No wonder we have such strong guts over here.

Back to the new "CHEEP JEROKEE"......I can understand why it has taken 47 months for them to build the blasted thing (George has been a bit pre-occupied shooting the living shyte out of anything that moves etc), but why oh why does it then take the Aussie team of poofessionals 3 weeks to get it ready to deliver to you??? (ie: mid December to 5/1/05).

Is it like a mechano set....they've gotta get the tech-screws and chewy out & stick it all together....not to mention converting it over to right hand drive......

Hey Pesty, I wouldn't worry about cooling anything down in your fridge for him for about another 18 months....hahahahaha

You two Yorke Peninsular based blokes can be downright not nice sometimes. Picking on poor (soon to be poorer) Kenny It may not be Kenny that gets killed in South Park soon.
Pesty, can you thank Ray and Liz for me. Ta.

See! everyone, this is the diatribe that emanates from the Yorke Peninsular when you poke the 'bears' that live there.

I'll have you galoots know that the long awaited piece of spectacular USA designed, finely engineered and high quality manufactured end 4WD product is currently on a marine vehicle transporter passing through the Panama canal.

(not to be confused with the Thebarton canal either)

The subject vessel is due to dock in the Port of Melbourne on 20.12.04 and after unloading, the vehicle has to go through a myriad of bureaucratic procedures that are all designed to increase the end price and consequently the GST.

Bearing in mind the X-mas/new year cheer period when nothing gets done by anyone, I think I will be lucky to take delivery of this beast before the second week in January 05.

Unfortunately the national supply of bubble gum, chewing gum, blue tac, liquid paper and super glue has been monopolised by Yorke Peninsular 'cockroach - pesticide' incorporated, so I'll just have to rely on the superior workmanship provided by the self confessed 'leader of the world'.

(please God don't let the new JEEP Cherokee, blow up or do anything emabarrasing and I'll be a good boy for ever and ever, otherwise I'll never be able to show my face 'over there' again. )

PS

and I haven't forgotten the 'coldie' debt account. Caused by an embarrassment that cannot be mentioned.
