Well, we went.

We only managed to conquer a small part of the place but the bits we did were challenging to say the least. The park has simple, medium and hard tracks. My brother and I only did a small amount of the medium stuff but I have new dents in my side steps and I have not yet had a chance to look underneath as it was dark when we left.

I must say the Jack went extremely well but OOOH, to have a Patrol.Sorry guys , no cruiser with me so I can't compare but a Patrol eats up the rougher stuff better than a Jack( even at 400 kilos+ heavier). My brother in the patrol did not bottom out half the amount I did( as to be expected) but I went everywhere he went.

For those familiar with the park, Telecom mountain is good fun but Prado parade up the first steep climb made me realize that the Jack has very good capabilities in all areas except for the LACK OF CLEARANCE.

It is a long day but well worth it. Highly reccomend to anyone who feels the need to blow the cobwebs out of their system.

Give this place a go.

Depend what you call real but if your 4wd is as good as you say, try to get to landcruiser mountain park and put it up against their tracks.
Now before this turns inta a slanging match, I am not challenging you as that is not my nature but for your own benefit try it and see how you go.

I have never driven a musso so I don't know what they are like or anything about them.
obviously you are enjoying yours and good onya.
I am only just learning to 4wd.
There are guys here who could probably take a lada(no offense to lada owners) and park it on top of Ayers Rock with skills learned.

I personally believe it is the driver who gets any vehicle where it can go.

Yeah, it's allright, but there hasn't been much in the way of improvement there for quite a while, and once you've driven around most of it, it does get a bit dull.

From memory the only bits I haven't drive are the top end of "the claw" "new Hilux hill" and "cruiser canyon, (the wrong way)" apparently there's a right and wrong way to cruiser canyon...

...been there a few times...

Good place to test your skills, but there are better places to go for a drive

like here
