Hi all i have an aftermarket tacho that has the shift light and this was previuosly used on a petrol i was just curious it these will work on a diesel engine if so do i just connect it the same way??

yea ..same connections...just locate the coil and distributor on your diesel motor...and don't forget to set the shift light to about 7500rpm

WTF do you need a shift light in a diesel ?
Is it one of them tachos the size of a galvanised garbage can lid with a dolphin torch hanging off the side that all the ginos use in their lowered Excels, and Civics?
