Hi all, I am hoping that someone might shed light on my problem.
I own a 3.0 TD Nissan Patrol (2000 model) and recently I have begun to hear a squeaking/springing type of noise from the steering/front end when I turn the wheel. Not sure if this caused by dry/worn bushes or something else but would be interested in anyone has experienced such a problem and can shed some light on what it might be. It doesn't make any noise when driving in a straight line, but increases in volume depending on the severity of the turn.

Check the oil level in your power steering.

Try rotating the front springs in their seats a little. My 4500 had terrible noises, particularly when cold. Apparently
the springs move in the seats and take a bit of settling in. Jack the car up on the chassis, taking weight off of the front end completely and you should be able to turn
the springs relatively easy.
