I have been there a couple of times now.
The track is fairly rough, but will depend on how much rain was dumped during the wet.
Definitely no shade, bring your own shade tarp.
Depending on the wind direction, but definitely before April/May, there are heaps of Sand fly's.
Again, depending on tides, Crystal
Creek will drain completely at low tide.
Last time there, 2 years ago, a 4.5 metre croc lived in the top end of the
creek and swam back out as the tides subsided and came back as tides rose.
We always found it good fishing, particularly barra at the right ime of the year.
However you need a dingy to be able to go up and down the
creek and out to the mouth of the
creek.
Easy to launch at Crystal
Creek just past the
camping area between the
mangroves
Cheers
