**HOT** Feroza

Hi guys, just came across your site this morning, im stuck at home whilst my radiator is being cored/cleaned out. I dont know what happened, but my car had been going tops for ages,except for getting hot when driving out at stockton beach. (i got her in march 04, shes a 1994 CxI feroza narrow track) then before i went to Thredbo for a few days in july, i flushed out the coolant and replaced. We couldnt really tell what colour the original stuff was, so in went some standard green stuff... I thiink thats where the problem started. nothing happened whilst we were away but just recently, it would occasionally get warm/hot, generally with the right foot planted going up hills. so i drained it about three weeks ago, ran a Loctite cleaner through it, flushed about s billion times (took me forty minutes before i was satisfied, then i went for a 50/50 mix of Nulon RED coolant and water. Still didnt do the trick, and with the two forty degree days we just had here, i bit the bullet, pulled it out and sent it off. when i got it out last night, i grabbed the hose and stuck it in the filler neck, and covered the top tank inlet, and the outlet for the oil cooler, and the flow coming out the bottom tank (outlet to engine) was dismal, so i stuck the hose in there, and tried to get water coming out the filler neck. There was no way it was happening, the water was just backing out over the hose, so hopefully the bottom tank is just full of crap. Has anyone else had a simmilar problem with a feroza / rocky? any ideas. next thing to check is the Viscous Coupling Fan. (might replace with a thermofan).
