Hi All
Anyone had any first hand experience with a "Twozone Fridge Compartment"? A mate is thinking about increasing the capacity of his 32L Engel by adding the Twozone 32 which will supposedly increase the fridge capacity by 21 litres.

Roger,
Check the archives, there have been varying reports, some not very complimentary. Keep in mind they are simply a plastic box which sits on top the fridge. Also keep in mind cold falls, does not rise. He would have to run the bottom of the fridge at freezing temperatures to achieve any reasonable degree of cold in the top. They also make the fridge very tall.
At $350 they're a bloody expensive thing.
How about this? Sell the Engel, he'll get $500-600 if it's good, add the $350 to that and buy a 50L fridge. I've just done this to go from a 39L to an 80L.
Hope this helps in some way.
Cheers,
Jim.

Brian,
Haven't advertised it yet because I've been away every weekend. Plan to sell it the weekend after next because I'm away again next weekend.
New Camper, new fridge, can't keep me at home.
Cheers,
Jim.

They overload the fridge system hopelessly and the fridge cannot cope. The motor runs continuously. The system was never designed to run that size.
Best idea is sell the small fridge and buy a 50 litre evaKool or Waeco etc.
