Does anyone know if it is easy or advantageous to convert my front leaf to coil on my HJ61 Cruiser?

I have seen it done on some of the tough trucks or whatever in 4wd monthly and from what I read it sounds like alot of work (read$$$$$$$$$$) what would you want to do it for? to go in comps? more comfort? I personally would go to a spring specialist and look at puttin in raised springs that were matched to the actual load carrying of your vehicle not severely overengineered this should get you some cost effective improvements otherwise buy an 80. All depends on your budget/needs

Drive into Yota and drive out in an 80 series :-)
No easier way.

Look at Outback Engineering at
Croydon, they do auxillary coils to leaf sprung. I have had it done to an MQ and a GU leaf sprung ute, makes a hell of a difference and at a cost probably cheaper than fitting new leaf packs. Just my two cents worth.

Many
places doing coil conversions, but at the end of the day, insurance companies hate you, wont increase the value, and you still have the
old car.
Where are you located would be of assistance....
Dozer hit it, trade up IF you can afford it, but its easy to say that from here.
