I've got a 3l int td rodeo currently getting 22mpg ave, best has been 24.5mpg . Its now done 23000kms and I'm still waiting for it to improve like the dealer says should happen. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these as holden says they should be better than the 2.8 which is 30mpg plus.

Greg, i have 98 dual cab 2.8 t/d and have done 87000 km , Towing 7 x 5 tradesman trailer full of gear, consistently get 510 km to 50 ltr fuel 10.2 km/per litre 28 mpg
Empty 640km to 58 ltr of fuel 11ltr /per km 31 mpg
3110r/15 tyres ,2 hiclones before and after turbo ,no snorkle
I said to my mechanic the other day that the ute is getting better and better in the engine dept .I would say give it a bit longer and maybe check how you drive ,eg keep it in the 1800- 2800 rpm range ,my ute loves it and the turbo sings at that rpm.I find a gentle boot and gentle acceleration is better than a heavy boot ,black smoke and no action !
Happy Trails
