I had ironman on my GQ and it was excellent, really cost effective too, if I could have remembered the name I would have htme on my GU. Go get them fitted.
The opinion of this forumite is entirely his own and no correspondence will be entered into (unless you email him)

I have fitted it to customers 4bys as a cheaper alternative and had no probs.
Seems good for the cost.

Russel, have a look in jan 05 4WD Monthly pgs 4-5. they have been advertising few months now.
80 series = $663 for the on/off road version
= $673 for the heavy duty off road.
fitting extra. Let me know how you go as i was thinking of these, the price is right!!

Several years ago Ironman burst on to the scene.
I bought a full set and had problems with all the shocks, the rates were all over the place.
We travelled the canning after I had replaced the iron man with ARB,but one of my mates had them on his land rover, every one failed due to seal leaks.
They seemed then to disappear from the scene, now to re appear with widespread advertising.
I think the first sets were made in either India or Malaysia,I am not saying they are still no good, but advise you to check where they are made and what quality before you out lay your cash.
Any competition in the 4wd accessory market is good, but it is still buyer beware on some imported stuff.
Regards
