I went to Highgate Auto Cool in the city at 65 Gilbert Street.
A little out of my way, but I was satisfied on thoroughness & workmanship.

The job was to remedy air con cutting out intermittently, & put in new coolant (dipstick showed it was buggered - 2.5 years since coolant was last replaced)

had this work done:

remove & replace rad
cleaned 1.25 kg of very fine bulldust out of rad & condensor coils ( & put it in a sealed bag for me, as evidence !)
new filter drier receiver
compressor oil
new coolant (quoted $ 140 at Mobil Servo for that alone)
leak tested

Total bill $ 587

All Ok now - well tested on a 5,000 km trip in 30 to 40 degree temps, on dirt roads.

Cheers
