Hi there,
I have a 96 75 series troopy. When jack up the front
wheels, there is a discernable play in the verical axis at top of tyre and none in the horizontal axis. Was told this be the upper swivel hub bearing faulty. Can the bearing be replaced without removing the hub, axle etc.
Many thanks for any response

To me it sounds like the king pin bearings are worn, not so much that they wear its the needle rollers wear a grove in the outer cup. The whole lote has to be removed. hub, housing, front disc etc to get the bearings and cup out.
When replacing new bearings do the inner axle oil seal as
well.
