storage system for 4x4

i would like to build a storage system for my 4x4 that i can remove when not required . have you built one and was it a goer . please contact me direct if possible - pw@alphalink.com.au

Hi Peter.
you probably have built your system by now but just in case
we are now up to box number four. we have found they change size and shape as our family has changed. Teenage children leaving home.
Plus as we have become more experienced campers and do not carry as much stuff. the advantage of building your own box, other than cost, is that you can make it fit what and where you want. Our latest is made with 4 ply, carpeted with marine carpet to match the car interior.
the commercial draws are very nice but way out of our price range.
whenever we go outback or to a 4wd event we check everyones box out for ideas. you will find most people are happy to share their thoughts
