I dont think the MQ box is a straight bolt in fix. you would have to ring a good set of wreakers and ask them if yoiu dont get an answer on line.

I recently gave my G60 over to a mate who uses it on a station as a back-up vehicle. It has a Marks 5-speed conversion in it. At one stage I contacted Marks but they told me that hey had discontinued that gearbox in the mid 90's and had no spares left. It may pay you however, to give them a call and to ask if there is an alternative box which could be fitted.

In the late 70's Nissan made a mistake and sent a Shipload of Patrols designed for the South African MArket to Asutralia. These were desinated Model G61. These had the 4 litre petrol motor, no polution gear and 4 speed manual transmissions. They were essentially G60's with MQ running gear. They were sold discretely in
Melbourne about 80,81.
You ight have some luck tracking down one in
Melbourne wrecking yards.
