Hi All, just checked in for some Friday funny's, too early and don't have one myself.
Question while I am here. I picked up a couple of stone chips the other month above the front windshield and want to stop them rusting. Everyone so far has givenme a different opinion. Wax paint WD 40 leave it alone. Any suggestions from the wise .

G'Day Skinny

Try touch up paint at K Mart, Just get the colour match number of your car and match it to the right one at K Mart.

Remember only put paint on the chip itself as if you put new paint on existing paint it can look fairly ordinary.

Thanks for tips. I failed to mention it has started to rust. Some have said to use WD 40 to stop rust, most have said do not try and clean rust. They are only small chips but I am worried about letting them go.
As i plan to have the truck another 10 + years I want to keep that bl--dy rust out.

All ideas welcome.

There is a product which is paint and polish in one hit.... You get your paint code and match it with the kit and then add the paint to the crack (like lipstick applicator), and then polish off the edges....
I used it with my last green patrol and could only see the faint outline of the chip after the process.... Pretty good... $30 approx...
Cant remember where i got it but it is out there... Motorshop somewhere..
