Patrol with sign hanging off back in Sydney

SWMBO saw a partrol along the windsor road yesterday with a sign hanging off the spare wheel,
THIS NISSAN ENGINE BLEW UP AT 44,000 k's.
Some one on this forum?

I'll just have to stick to the Cruiser, Now theres no way she'll let me buy a Patrol !!!

I believe it may be the same one that's parked outside my daughters school.
It's a seriies II. Been meaning to catch the owner and have a chat, but always gone by the time I get back to the carpark after picking up the girl. Haven't seen it for a while though.

Aren't the usually programmed to blow up at higher K's than that.

Baz, it's great. Everything I expected and More. Different car to drive. I have put 1500k's on it in the last week and it's so much better. I'm also getting about an extra 80k's out of the two tanks. It pulls much better and has a lot more power. crusing at 80 kmh in fourth gear and accelerate and it goes. No more winding up for the hills. best money I've ever spent.
