can i get permit for fraser on the net? leaving on friday 17th :)

You can always just grab permits at Rainbow Beach ranger station on the way.

As far as I know you can't apply for one on the net. Even if you could you'd have to wait until they process it and send you the info/permit pack which would probably take at least 5 working days. If you're in Brisbane get it at QPWS office opposite the City hall. However the best place is ususally at the rainbow beach office before you go onto the island. They are very quick there (10 min max). There is also a permit kiosk at River Heads. If you're going that way.
