The new carried story of kids skiing with a boat off Adelaide metro beach when Great white decide to have lunch.

Now I know why I prefer 4WD and camping.

Closest I want to get to the ocean is from a Restaurant window. on the beack.

Keep on 4wding and leave the boat home.

I cant imagine how horrific it would have been for his friends to actually watch as the sharks mutilated his body. from what i heard on the late news, one of the sharks was over 6 meters long. If I knew how to add a picture to this, I have one that would make me walk on water to get back to dry land fast.
Very sad indeed.

The shark pics shown on telly were archival...shot about 2 weeks ago at a different location.

Two guys were killed when their troopy rolled and burned at the bottom of Hearn's Spur in the Wonnangatta at Easter and caught fire.

We aren't immune either.

Play safe over Christmas.

Rus
they found the poor buggers mutilated body on a beach not far from the attack spot. Must have been prety hard on the others in the boat and for the person who has to do the identification.
Bet they wished they had been 4wdriving now.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

Statistically we stand a far greater chance of getting into trouble on the road.
There have only been about fifteen shark attacks in SA since 1920. They are increasing in frequency probably because of the greater numbers of people into watersports, but still the chances of being taken are really remote especially if some caution is used.
Still, quoting stats does nothing to diminish the pain of the relatives after an event like this.
It was in my opinion a mixture of bravery and wisdom for the lad's father to come out and pour cold water on the idea of hunting sharks in revenge.
