Yep , remove swaybars .
not only do they rattle , but also a pain in the butt to put back on after disconnecting .
If I am doing hwy kms , I leave them on . If I am having a day play , I remove them .
Also I have modified my original mounts to suit the 5 " lift , so not to offten that I need to remove them. Also helps with front tail shaft clearence

Hi Brent, Why not put it back onto Snake Racing, after all, you paid the money!!!! Why not start making the manufacturer accountable. It seems lots of guys on this site buy aftermarket gear that really doesn't stack up to the claims, usually at a premium cost and just seem to accept it. Michael

G'day Brent
I had snake's on my patrol until recently....like the others said, too much bloody trouble to re-connect and also they were a pain to pull the pins out if they'd been in place for a month or more and got a bit seized up etc.
When i got
mine I noted that the bolt that joined the bottom of the snake to the sway bar did not have a fat enough collar to fill the hole in the sway bar. I found a rough bit of steel tubing which was about the right inside and outside diameter to go over the bolt and through the hole in the sway bar. I cut 2 short bits off, just the same thickness as the hole in the sway bar....slid them onto the bolt and then did up the nyloc nut. It helped the rattle/clunk a bit, but I still got sick of the whole damn thing and have removed both sway bars for good. I get a bit more body roll but nothing i can't handle now that I'm used to it.

Brent,
Mine has 4" front and 5" back (Lovells), but with weight (3 tonne) and 2.5 years of use, the thing only sits about 3" above normal height of a factory spec Patrol.
Air
tank is on the cargo barrier, right over on the passenger's side, bolted up high, just above the compressor which sits over the left wheel arch on top of a drawer set-up.

Be careful.. If you are using spring spacers like me you can affect your spring location point in the top rear spring
well and without your swaybar in there your spring may fall out...Even without spacers i have had springs fall out....
I have modified my swaybar like Eric to allow extra travel....and what a pain it is when your spring is wedged inbetween your fuel
tank and your diff and your wheel is up in your guard and you have left the hi-lift jack behind...
Swaybar for me is good insurance and with a difflock who cares if you lose a wheel in the air...

again, try the archives, its been done before.
Throw the swaybars to the shi+house.
As long as you remember you are driving a ~3ton truck and not an F50 you will be sweet. Havent had swaybars since I did my +6in sus lift and body lift.
