only 1/20 full. with it was a gismo you plug into the top. you tune your car radio
to 87.9fm and it plays through the car radio. can now have music on those lonely

Brian,
They are great. Belinda has an "IRiver" same thing as an " IPod", but not in Australia as yet. This thing has 20gb and has 1200 songs and only 20% full. Dont know if it will play through the car radio as yet, I will have to get it off her first.

You no longer need the cassette type adaptor - at any reputable (and some not so reputable) electronics store you can by a gizmo that plugs into the headphone socket of the mp3 player/IPod etc and it transmits on an FM frequency - just tune in your radio and off you go. These things cost about $40 to $50.
Cheers

I-Rivers are in Oz now - picked up my 40GB unit back at the start of the year. New ones have a colour screen and can view photos -
mine can only display file information. Whilst they do play mp3s, really they are just a 40GB hard drive that you can put anything on - all you do is hook it up to the computer (via USB cable) and start transferring. Takes a *&^*&%# long time to convert all your Cds to mp3 format though...

Well, 2700 songs, and a few days of Audible books, cheap external speakers and car FM kit. Have a photo transfer box but dead slow and don't use it.
No more boxes of cd and it really is nice.
Who said kids are supposed to have a monopoly on the really cool toys eh!!
Greatest thing since slice bread.

Certainly Can, I’ve had my iPod for about 1½ years and it never leaves my side in the car (With the iTrip FM Transmitter) at work or at home Brilliant!! The other good thing about the iTrip is that you can tune everyone’s Radios into it and Listen! We had 2 4x4’s Listening on one trip they transmit up to 30’ 10m away….
