I have just tried out the new "crystal blue" cover from Lightforce. It "softens" the light and makes it a more "white". I think it is to imitate the more expensive HID light. Bought one (spot) and tested it last night. Amazing the difference. The light is much better and makes my "combo" cover look quite yellow. I have now ordered the combo one as
well.
I have my lights (240 XGT) sit above the bull bar as they won't fit inside. The glare from the covers can be a pain and electrical tape won't always stay on from the heat. This new "crystal blue" cover gives a very nice blue ring around the edge and is much less imposing to the eye when looking down the road.
I would recommended these if anyone is thinking about them.

can you comment on any perceived difference about the distance visiblity?
Are you thinking of going to convert the combo to a blue cover also?
I have the 240s with a clear combo lens on one- works
well for me, but for the small price could be tempted to convert.
Cheers

Noticed your in S.A. I got
mine from TJM on Main Nth Rd. Yes I have ordered the blue combo for the other giving me one spot and one combo now. Distance illumination is not affected at all. If anything it looks more powerful. I'm sure that's just an optical illusion but having a clearer "white" light helps on the eyes.
Worth every cent.
