Willem
as we found a tunnel to his warehouse at the North Pole this year and have been raiding it for the full twelve months. In fact SANTA sent a letter listing all the pressies for 2004 and we have now booked up our share until 2010!!!!!
And on that note Judith and I wish everyone a feasting Christmas and for 2005, a New Year which is full of accessories and travel.

Merry Christmas to you and Judith. It has been quite an eventful EO year - it seems a long time ago that me met you at Dimboola but it is only nine months ago....time flys when your having fun....
I thought you must have got pressies like this all through every year which surprised me cos I didn't think you had been all that good!!
Thanks for helping us make it a memorable year.
Andrew

Hi Andrew ,
I just looked at your rig profile and we and I share a lot of similarities even down to the Sony Vaio . I am just getting some quotes for a CDMA phone and plan to pay out my useless ( in the bush ) Vodafone contract .
Could you please give me some info on the the method you use with the CDMA and the laptop . I will be in the NT in April / May and I would like to keep in touch with the stock market .
Ideally I would like to go to a website and down load a couple of pages , but if this is not possible then I would get prices through email .
Do you have a data plan with Telstra or how have you organised this ? Was it a big cost to download what you needed ?
Thanks ,
Willie .

I just use my normal dial up plan with my telstra CDMA phone. You dial a special number with your ISP - I am with iprimus and you just dial the number they give you and the data comes down the line. Telstra charge at the rate you normally pay for phone calls.
It is hellishly slow - I reckon that it would take 7 mins to log onto Etrade and check prices in your hotlist or similar whatever your broker is. I have never tried it so I am not sure.
Is good to get emails but sometimes you get jokes or funnies or pictures or video and they are just too big..... I have an infrared port on the phone and I bought a USB infrared thingy so the computer can talk to the phone.

Hi Willem ,
I just noticed the web address after your "Cheers" and recognised the site straight away as one of my favourites . I have read and printed out most of your adventures especially the early ones on the
Gregory NP , the Fitzmaurice and the Douglas Rivers .
My big problem has been that they were done sixteen years ago , and so much must have changed re access ( aboriginal and pastoral interests ) that I am loath to form any plans from them .
Maybe you could do a rewrite ! Just nip down there and check it all out for me and report back . No problem ?
Have a beaut Christmas ,
Willie .

So it was you who raided the warehouse! There was me thinking that it was me!!
It has been a great year, full of good things, not the least of which is EO.
Wishing you both a very happy Christmas and a fabulous 2005.

Glad it was the watehouse you found the tunnel into and not the whorehouse. LOL
Best Wishes to you and Judith and may your travels take you to where you want to go and safely home again.
Best wishes from Elaine and Alpaca

Willem you wacker! your tunnel ends up in ERICS WAREHOUSE not Santa's. All the kids can be sure that Santas warehouse is stocked and ready to go in a couple of days.
