Any one got a real sort of idea of what temps can / are per nos 1/2/3/4/5 freeze actually are at 35 ambient?

Yeah mate you are way over the top lol
My 15lt Engel will be 20 years old in April and still going strong. The plastic body is stuffed but the littlw motor keeps on humming. Will freeze your beer. Good deal methinks

Hi Willem,
I too have what i think is the old Engel 15 litre fridge. Is it the 'green' series, with a green lid and yellowish body? I got given it a year ago for free, and works great, even on freeze. Built early 80's I assume?
Cheers

A fridge for every ocassion. What could be better?
Glad someone has more fridges than me (CF 80 Waeco, 40 L Chescold, and two thermo coolers). Now I don't feel so strange LOL.
Cheers,
Jim.

I run my Engel at no more than two for icy cold beer no matter what the temp. 34 today and left on the usual one and a half and I'm enjoying my third Engel beer after working on the kids cubby in the dark. Just told the missus after the third Engel beer I turn into a raving sex maniac, she said go for it, I've nearly downed the third so I have work to do.....bye

I know on our work SS80 combo that '3' was -16 and '5' was -23 although it would only go to -23 on 240AC and ran constantly. Not sure where the temp is measured from though as it wasn't in the actual freezer compartment. That's in
Brisbane but the temp didn't vary with ambient temp.

Mr Clause, why is it that you insist on visting my house 12 times per year. In future please limited your calls to the customary once per year.
How you get in has me stuffed as I have no chimney. Thank you and merry chrissy to you and all the staff
