I would be very interested & appreciative for any recommendations, or advice prior to me lifting the T2 approx. 2"
Is it OK to just wind up the existing Torsion bars, or should heavy duty ones be fitted?
What is the best way to lift the rear?

I don't know how a terrano is set up but if it is the same as a Jackaroo eg torsion bar front end and coil
suspension rear than you won,t get 2 inch lift out of the front without putting to much pressure on you CV joints and CV boots. I only managed 25 mm out of the front with existing torsion bars. It will raise the front but still retains its soft
suspension which is great on road but tends to drop excessively if coming of a ledge causing the car to bottom out easier. I know....my bash plates have copped a flogging cause of it. using thicker torsion bars stiffens the ride on road but helps bottoming out off road.
The rear if it is coil
suspension 2 inch lift should not be a problem. I went with new long travel springs and shockers from EFS and so far so good.
Good luck deciding but talk to a person who specialises in
suspension as he wil know all there is to know about it.
