I have noticed that you never have anything good to say to people , are you always misrable , or just most of the time ?

Yes it will be busy , but everywere will . Some people like other people around.

They area is huge , so no problem finding somewere to have a play.

If you dont like what I say, die, I wont miss you...

"Everywhere will be busy"
Very good grasshopper, as I've said in every thread, where people are stupid enough to think they will have 1000acre paddocks to themselves, that it just doesnt happen.

Yes, the Robe round to carpenters rocks area is huge, but the main areas, the beach, just over the hill from the beach, the buggy club, etc where EVERYONE goes will be packed... and if people havent been before, then theres a good chance that those people will go to the main areas isnt it?

Gawd... School holidays aint it...

I agree that the area will be very busy. Our local 4wd club - Wattle Rangers 4WD Club would appreciate if all 4x4 drivers stick to the main tracks and do not create new tracks otherwise the Nat Parks guys will have more ammo for trying to close off more areas in the dunes.

The best area to try is the five mile drift for sand dune climbing. You should be able to get some info at the caravan parks or the local servo (Jarmo's) of the area.
Just a reminder that any vehicle must be road registered to be used in the parks area as the Nat Parks guys will be around and can impose fines on any non road registered vehicles as will the local cops.

Lots to see and do, I'd just stay clear of Evans Cove beach, unless you like digging. Have fun, stay safe and tread lightly.

Stuart,
We did this last Christmas/New Year.
4wds everywhere, until we headed for the beach, Robe end. Got thru the sandhills ok, hit the first beach and then stuck. Let the tyres down a bit more and we were on our way. Funny thing is we didnt see another car that morning. We took off about 9.00am. Fishing, surfing and general coastal viewing kept me occupied, along with family stuff.

Stuat ,
I went down there mostly to see the area because of it's incredibly rich history of aboriginal use . I was driven away by march flies though . I have never seen anything like them and they just seemed to be unstoppable - make sure you take plenty of Aeroguard and have a great time .
