Hi Folks
My wife and I would like to undertake a tour around australia next year and would like to do so by 4wd. I am thinking of converting an older vehicle and installing sleeping facilities, storage, refrigeration, cooking.
Is this a sensible way of doing it or should I be considering towing a trailer/van or some other method?
Also what vehicle would people recommend. I wanted to spend about 10K on the vehicle purchase.
Many Thanks

check out the adds section and click on my rig pics my camper is for sale it is fully maintained just fully serviced, 11months rego and a list of replaced parts as long as your arm. it has served me as my daily driver and also quite a few trips including kimberlys top end red centre so it is up to it. I am going on holidays for a week if you mail me at evansd@newcrest .com.au in about the next 15min I will be able to send you more info otherwise it will be in the new year

Looks like a neat unit Davoe.
P & S how long are you going for, do you intend to stay in one place for extended periods etc. If staying in one place then a seperate camper might be better. If travelling with just aq few days here and there then a single unit like Davoe is selling would fit the bill.
