Hi all
Just went to the shed and dug out the engel to plug it into 240v to freeze the meat for the high country on boxing day. Problem is no work on 240v so I plugged it into the car and works fine on 12v.
Question is does anybody know if there is a fuse inside somewhere as I am not familiar with these contraptions only turning them on and off.
Thanks all and merry christmas to everybody.

Should be a fuse in the 240v supply, in my limited experience they usually have a screw out cover.

I've got no idea but would suggest an alternative to solve your problem in the short term as you need a quick fix.
How about running it off your battery and connecting a charger to the battery whilst this happens so that you will have a functioning fridge and be able to freeze the meat.
Worry about the 240 problem when you get back.
Enjoy your trip.
Good Luck,
Jim.
