100 series cruiser bars

I know I am not allowed to post till next year , but hey , what the heck lol.
I am told by a little bird , that Toyota will not supply the 100 series ifs cars with bull bars . I was told it was due to a recall on there bull bars.
After some thought , I asked, why havent you recalled all the bars that you have fitted then ?
I was given a answer , I am starting to wonder if it has something to do with the front end .
Anyway I will try and get some answers in the new year.

na mate its cause the weight of the bar gives them even more of that gumby nose-down road grader look !!
I'm thinking the usual story, car maker puts pressure on parts supplier to lower prices, parts maker cuts costs, parts end up crap, purchaser is left holding the bag.

My brother recently bought a brand new 04 cruiser and had to wait 3 weeks to get the front bar. He was told that there was a manufacturing error in the brackets that hold the bar on the vehicle, holes didn't line up or something. Got it all sussed now but.

Eric, justread that Prado's crack their radiator mounts with bars fitted maybe its a LC issue also?
