I got rid of the electric one today and replaced it with a manual one............rang nissan but needed a bank cheque.....so i went to autobarn and looked at what they had.......only listing was for a replacement electric mast so i looked for a similar one and got one that said Toyotl Hilux 88-97......did the job beautifully and no bank cheque needed.

You are the 'man' Brewster.

First the Konis and now a Lux to the rescue.

Go on! just convert the whole thing to a T....A and all will be sweet.

Happy new year and most probably will catch you in March on the Border soiree.

regards

Ken Robinson

PS

I've just got to see this gennie of Roachies. Sounds like has a mini Latrobe Valley power station.

Maybe we can get that on the front page of 4WD Monthly

Yeah I wondered why my GQ aerial was so stiff to move till I found it was lectric. Still works despite me trying to break it

Happy New Year, Stuart

What bits and pieces you got left to do now? I see your in town to see Erics mate again, drop in again, can have coffee at work again or home :P Plenty or wine at home now too... :D :D :D

It will be a pleasure to have Dave and Michelle Back.

The STT's are having break. I only run them when doing real bush trips and so far they are holding out OK except for some fine hairline cracks inbetween the tread lugs. They have on;y 4000km on them. The Kellys seems to be unwearable and I got given a spare casing with 50% wear left for zilch.

Yeah Eric has promised a 2inch lift but I am not happy with the shockies he suggests(foam cell Pedders).....will see what money I have available then ...might go for Koni's

Yea them kellys will get 500000! Like my old Kumho AT's, they were exactly the same!

I'm now running Old Man Emu LTR's on front, and Nitro's on rear. They are very much worth checking, also fully rebuildable.

IMHO, most of the major players are good now.. Except my good old ranchos, 3 sets and gave up, mate also went thru 3 sets on a GU, but he went for EFS 4in kit to replace it, he too sold the ranchos just after being replaced under warranty!!!!
