Hi Everyone , Looking for some real world info on the 4 cylinder turbo diesel utes , we are considering a new extra cab ute to travel and tow our 4.35 mtr boat( 730kg on trailer ) considering a ford courier at the moment but looking for any advice on any of the other brands as regards towing ability ,comfort , real condition fuel use and off road ability. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great advice !
Yes the new Hilux is going to have a 3.0D4 common rail in it on the Prado chassis / drivetrain. Will be a great ute.
There can be some useful info at
http://www.utes.com.au as
well so
check it out.
Don't buy a Courier . Buy Rodeo or Hilux.

It might make the top 20 ..
The Hilux certainly would not though.

hey,
From memory the Isuzu Rodeo is not a ute. It's a station wagon, looked a bit frontera'ish to me.
The Izuzu Pickup is what we have ( or should that be had.....I hate the new one )
And I like
mine ( 3.0 TD Auto 4wd dual cab )
cheers,
Dale
