Hey
I recently went for off road experience in
Nanga, WA, and being the clever bugger I am, I knocked a side step in which punctured my fuel filter/water separator which lives under the drivers door (under chassis obviously) and now leaks diesel profusely. Now I am having serious trouble repairing or replacing it. Toyota wants $550 for a new one, and thats just bl**dy ridiculous. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By pass the current location and fit a CAV type filter under the bonnet? I got
mine with a priming pump in the head of the unit and a spare filter for $120 a couple of years ago.
