Kia are the worst of a pretty sad Koren bunch.... hang on is that daewoo ??....... Actually I think Kia have it over Daewoo...... Funny thing is the Kalos is going to be the new Holden Barina ..... those poor Holden salesmen having to peddle thatbleep. What other crap will they stick as Holden badge on and flog it to the unsuspecting ?

Was talking to a fella the other day who had a 2 1/2 year old V8 Calais and was on his third motor .. Yes third !!!!!!.. He was in discussions with Holden as they apparently see prepared to extend his warranty by another 2 years for nothing given the trouble he has had..... He is not a rarity either .. that 5.7 is a POS yankee donk with massive oil problems.....

HEy johhno,
they said the same thing about japanese cars 25 years ago, and look where they are now.......

Some people just like to buy what they want and can afford, some just like to bag what they see as below them to boost thier own ego.....

Im sure those dots are close enough for even you to join.....

Yeah, Dave has done a pretty good booty fab home job on it. He is still ironing little bugs out of it (spring rates/heights etc), but overall it is reasonably stable to drive and wheel, and by all appearances looks quite professional.

He may not be the only one..............

Kia is a wholely owned subsiduary of Hyundai.

Anyone who thinks Korean cars are still junk must be walking around with there eyes closed.
Hyundai have really picked up there act and I believe they are definatley equel to anything Australia produces and not to far behind japan.

Now if we talk about ecology THAT may be a whole new story.!!!!!

We import a Korean product as our flagship bread and butter security product and I can tell you first hand (have a background in importing from Taiwan and China is previous jobs) that the Korean made products are of a much higher standard than competitave products and would depending on the company are equal to many japanese products.

Anyone own an LG Product? Korean. Good stuf IMHO.

The first Hyundai's that came out were pretty crappy but over the last 5-10 years they have really picked up their game and as stated by Toy60 you only need to open your eyeys a little bit to figure that out.
