Does any one have to lend or know where I can get at very little expense a map of each state for oziexplorer. I want to put some plot files on to show where I have been state to state.

How much is "little expense"? You can buy the Nat Raster Mosaic of Australia for $99 from the exploreoz
shop. It's very cool and is one huge map of australia made up from all the 1-250k maps being "stitched" together.
You can then use it for moving maps and plotting your trips before you go. The other option is to go to Nasa's website and you can download some high res satalite images for free, however these are large and don't really show roads or tracks, however they do look cool! :-)

Jeff,
Already got Raster mats but I was looking for something not as detailed like a state index map rather than the who;e of australia

G'day David,
Just emailed you one for Victoria. Should be suitable for what you need. All done for the price of a pot of beer.
Cheers,
Wazza.

David,
Another place to find good overview maps is Perry-Castañeda Library
Map Collection. Fthey are also at thr right price, but you will have to calibrate them yourself.

I haven't yet found one in the collection that couldn't be calibrated. I also haven't found one that didn't have the info needed to calibrate them yourself.
