gday champ, i use the DSE website they have a great page showing all fires, going contained controlled etc, even how many units are involved etc. pretty up to date too.

Greg and the lads from the Buchan Quarry will be busy, there is one just north of them going.

Yeah i often look at that , i use the CFA site for the local call updates as well ,usually within a minute of the call it's updated on the page .

Also the CFA has a very good incident control system and all the fires large enoough are run through these once they hit private property DSE work out of those control points as well so the info is pretty good .

The DSE site is mainly a presribed burn info source whereas if it's on the CFA site under the "incident update " page you know it's an emergency but it's good to cross reference both .
