I have heard that Toyota will be introducing a new Turbo Diesel engine for the Landcruiser in 2007. I believe it will be a 4.8 litre V8. I have searched the web but can't find anything on this. Has anyone read anything on this and are there any web sites reporting same?

If so I will keep my current LC100 T/D till then.

Cheers,
Topend.

Yeah, could have been a highly strung, complicated, fully electronic engine looking for a place to break down, But,,,, yeah luckily they probably couldn't afford it this time round so they slipped old faithful back in for a year or two!!!!! Michael

Guess I'd best start saving now.

Still waiting for Nissan to siamese two 3.0TD's together into a 6.0l twin turbo V8. Now that'd be fun (until it blew up....ooowwwhhh)

No overseas websites were used to obtain this information.
