I' would like to find out what is the normal running temps. for this engine,
maybe someone has a after market guage fitted?

forum button if you get a post window up but change your mind BTW at a guess I would say about 90 - 100deg c boiling point of radiator under pressure with 50/50 coolant is about 125 deg c

My workshop manual says that the thermostat should begin to open when the temperature is 82C and fully open ( 10mm) at 95C. Presumably the normal operating temp is anywhere in this range. I remember being told that initially the ZD30's sold herewere fitted with thermostats for Europe and not suitable for Aussie conditions. I don't know if the figures in the
Gregory's workshop manual (2000 - 2002) is refering to these or the replacement ones.
