Hi all.... yep.... the police called. It had been dumped in the bush. Slashed tyres and otherwise in good condition. We had put the word out that it was stolen and someone spotted it only four days later. We think it was a local who realized that they couldn't move it without being spotted and that it wasn't worth going on with.

So one $6500 horsefloat back..... still $7000 worth of horse gear and a generator to get back. I reckon it'll turn up soon.

Cheers Royce

Glad to hear you had soon good news. Now all you need is a positive finger print or DNA match so you can really give the pr##ks a poke in the eye!!!!
Good luck with the rest of your gear.

Oh, I like the sound of that Nino.......a poke in the eye; with a crowbar!!!

Glad things have taken a turn for the better Royce, although I must say that the float itself was probably the easiest thing to replace out of all the gear knicked. Fingers crossed with the rest of the stuff.

Usfaba is the word John. You must kearn to relax lol . You just have a quiet word to them with no one watching lol . If they happen to fall over , you must help them up . If they keep falling over , your allowed to walk away after the 18th or so fall .

Thats good news....its amazing how these people think...if i cant steal it fair and square, and keep it myself...i'll slash the tyres so noone else can steal it.....
Go figure.

Pleased to hear it Royce. It makes you wonder doesn't it about locals too. Hope you get the rest soon. I am still missing a quad though from nearly two years back. Harder to use and hide a horse float than a quad.

Great News Royce - I guess they heard all these mad 4by drivers were going to be inspecting horse floats and demanding ownership papers!

Hope the rest turns up real soon.

Cheers

Great to hear,,

Well if the local boys do there job and finger print the float etc,, they should catch the so called low life very easily.
