The lack of responses tells me no-one is gonna touch this !!

I'd say you'd be best to see a diesel/turbo specialist and ask them.

Cheers'

Return, if you want the turbo to last, goes to the sump. the return line must be at least twice the internal diameter of the inbound oil line and go down into the sump above the level of oil in the sump. Getting the oil out is very important, as oil flow is only half for lubrication and half for cooling. Oil coolers are great but inspect the lines every service and use quality hose rated for hot oil.

forgot to mention 2 1/2 inch exhaust will be fine, just avoid tight crush bends.

G'day 46lux
I've got a DTS unit on my 89 3L and the oil return goes into a tee on the vac drain line. A 2 1/2 pipe is big enough.
The only thing i would look at is vane sizes, the 2l isn't as big as a 3l, so just enquire at a diesel/turbo workshop.
Also when you have it fitted you can increase your fuel supply and timing to increase top end power.
Safe travels
